An M&A auction process is a confidential competitive-bidding sales process where a seller, through its investment banker, invites multiple potential buyers to submit bids to acquire a company or its assets, aiming to maximize the sale price and terms through a structured and often confidential competition.
Our auction sell-side M&A services include market studies and valuation analysis, positioning the company and preparing marketing materials, building a buyer list and running the auction process by generating interest among those buyers and setting parameters for interested parties, evaluating bids, assisting with diligence and data room preparation, evaluating bids, assistance with negotiations and overcoming hurdles, and closing the transaction.
